Some common interview questions you’ll encounter during the process are:

1) Say something about yourself?

This simple yet tricky interview question generally comes out first during interviews. Remember that when applying you are like selling yourself to prospect clients, so you have to sell only the best quality that describes the perfect person you are. Stick to the characters and skills that you input in your resume. And bear in mind that you are not there to tell your whole life story. Be concise and brief in your introduction.

2) Why do you think you are the right person for the job?

This is another selling point interview question that requires you to sell your skills and talents. You have to research about the job and the company that is hiring, their mission, vision, goals and the outputs or products that they are specializing. Analyze if the skill you are specializing matches to the ability that they are looking for from a certain applicant. You link some of your skills achievements from your previous jobs that would serve as the best asset to their company.

3) Why do you apply for this job and leave your present job?

You focus more on the positive rather than the negative views and answer. You can tell them that you are aiming for a career change and more skills improvement or a more challenging environment. If you have some trouble from your previous employer, you have to be realistic to them and tell a slight story about the problem but be sure to tell them that it was resolved in a very positive way.

4) What is your greatest weakness?

The interviewer will not believe you if you say you have none. You can say that you are weak in some point, but ensure them that you are doing and practicing your best to become perfect and overcome the said weakness.

5) Why do you think we should hire you?

In answering this interview question, you should boast about your motivation skill, your being a goal-oriented and a very assertive person. And that your talent and skill will contribute more on the success and growth of their company.

6) What is your salary expectation?

This is a very tempting interview question. But the best answer there is, is focusing more on the wonderful opportunities and the role that you will be playing rather than the amount of money that you will be earning.

You don’t actually have to rehearse much question prior to your interview date. You just have to be yourself and be confident with your whole personality, so that you will come natural to the interviewer. Who knows the confident and guts that you build merits more to the interviewer than the wits that you render to the interview questions? And be sure to have a friendly approach and don’t forget to win them with your smile.
